My workout didn't check itself off

Auto-complete needs three things: health permissions granted (tap "Sync watch data" on the Today screen), a workout of 45 minutes or more recorded in Health Connect or Apple Health, and a moment after your watch syncs. Open the app after your watch has synced and the checkmark should appear. Outdoor workouts ask you to confirm rather than assuming.

A day was marked missed and I don't agree

Days are judged only after they fully end in your phone's timezone, and only the calendar can judge them. A completion logged late (a watch that synced at noon, a widget tap) still counts for yesterday. Missed days cannot be edited afterward — that honesty is the product, not a bug.

Where are my photos?

On your phone, in the app's private storage. They never leave the device. If you uninstall the app, they're deleted with it.

My reminder didn't fire

Check that notifications are allowed for Witnessed, and that battery optimization isn't set to restrict it (Settings > Apps > Witnessed > Battery on most Androids).
